Events | Lisa Hammond Ceramics Exhibition | 22/9/12

In September 2012 we were delighted to announce our third exhibition of top British potter Lisa Hammond’s ceramics.

The exhibition opened in the gallery on Saturday 22nd September 2012 and had over 200 of the very best of Hammond’s pots, made over the previous 3 years.

To accompany the exhibition, a 64-page catalogue with photographs by Jay Goldmark was produced alongside a new documentary following Lisa’s life at the Mazehill Pottery.

Each Lisa Hammond pot has a life of its own, its own sense of renewal. They all offer their own pleasures, an intimacy that adds another dimension to the way we eat and drink, to the ceremonies of the everyday, to the space we occupy. In short, to the way we live our lives. – David Whiting
